Wow it has been a long time since i've updated this.. I totally forgot I had it. Well a update on my life at the moment. Since I last written I had a few new years goals that I had sat for myself, and so far only one of them has been achieved and that is opening a savings account. I don't have a whole lot of money in it yet, but it's a great start. I still want to go back to school, but I am not sure it will be in August of this year or not. I am working really hard, and trying to be optimistic about the situation. I still have not been able to find me a car...my dad tried to help but was unsucessful, no bank would finance him....so I am still stuck without any transportation of my own. So I am trying to be positive and keep looking and saving. I have faith that one day I will finds something.
What else...mom and I still do not get along very well. I basically have no privacy at all. She is constantly listening to my phone conversations, and standing over my shoulder at times, when i am on the computer. Which really upsets me when my laptop is the only computer in the house, and I pay for it out of my own money. I feel she has no right to use it, but I let her for the sake of more drama in the house. Those are just a few of the things she does to me that make me upset.
My little brother is doing better. He's gained 6 lbs of his weight he lost back, and has his colon issues under control for the most part, so I am happy for that.
Now for the going back to college thing.. I went and visited my grandparents today, and I realized how much I miss spending time with them on a regular basis. When I lived in Bryan/College Station I saw them at least once a week, since it is close to where they live. I got to spend some quality time with my grandmother or honey(that's what I call her), who has a mild case of altzheimers disease. She is on the Exelon patch and is doing fine, but I would love to spend more time with her and my Paw Paw(my grandpa). I want to treasure as many moments as I can with her, in case anything were to get worse, but I hope & pray to the good lord it never does. I love her dearly, she has been there for me in lots of difficult times, and helped me tons when I was in college. I would love to go back to school and finish and make her proud!!, and to be able to spend more time with her. I love my Honey more than words can describe!! She has shared lots of life lessons with me over the years and I treasure everyone of them. She's the best!! My Paw Paw is a wonderful man very smart, and is 90 years old!! He did lots for me in difficult times too and I miss seeing him on a regular basis too. I would love to make both of them proud of me, and get back in school and out on my own again.
Going back to college is high on priority list right now, and I am going to do everything in my power to go back. I am tired of working at a day care for minimum wage. As I was told by a close friend, and I quote "you are a very smart girl, and have a good head on your shoulders. You believe in yourself more now than you ever have, and i know you can return to school and be successful, so go for it!!" It was really nice to hear those words of encouragement. With my friend's kind words, and wanting to make Honey and Paw Paw proud, I am going to use that as my motivation go get back in school, and be closer to my family that I love the most!!
