Update on everything

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to post a quick update on what has been going on.
First Christopher, he has an appointment with his surgeon on Wednesday to sign papers for his surgery to be done soon, not sure what day until the papers are signed. Mom and dad will be going to Austin for that.

As far as the car goes, it is still in the shop. The mechanic is having trouble finding a part for it. He's looking for some type of aluminum head that was burned up in the car. He has called all sort of auto part stores and junk yards, but has had no success. We called another place and asked their opinion, and they had a customer in the past, that needed the same part we need, and they had to call somewhere in South Carolina to get the part! The local used car lot where we purchased the car are not the best people to buy a car from. It is family and owned and operated, and they have been known to rig up cars anyway they can to get them sell. We also found out that we paid too much for the car, when my dad was looking for a car a few weeks ago. A friend of mine bought her vehicle there as well, and has had nothing but problems with her car, and paid $5,000 too much for hers.
Therefore, my dad is going to rent a vehicle on Monday, just so he can get to work, and get to Christopher's on Wednesday for his appointment. Hopefully my dad will be smart and try to find a new vehicle,especially if the mechanic can't find the part for our car. I have been riding my bicycle to work for the past week, and its getting kind of old. I am tired of coming into work all hot and sweaty. I will be so glad when my dog has her puppies, and I will be able to get my own car!
